Having suffered six losses over their past eight games the Calgary Flames will be looking to stop the bleeding on Saturday night as they face the Canucks in Vancouver as +110 underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
And Calgary’s recent slump has pushed them out of a top-three berth in the Pacific Division standings, and down into the battle for one of the two Western Conference wild card spots. Meanwhile, Vancouver continues to hold a slim lead atop the Pacific Division standings.

Flames at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Calgary is coming off a 3-2 loss at home to the Nashville Predators on Thursday night as -110 favourites at sports betting sites, following up home losses to the Edmonton Oilers and the San Jose Sharks in its previous two outings. The Flames were outscored 14-6 in that stretch.
Sam Bennett and Rasmus Andersson had the goals for the Flames in Thursday night’s loss, with Cam Talbot making 32 saves on 35 Nashville shots in the contest. The Flames played that game without captain Mark Giordano, who is listed as week to week with a hamstring injury. Brandon Davidson was recalled from AHL Stockton to play on Thursday night.
Thursday’s game was an UNDER result on the totals, but the OVER has paid off for bettors four times in the Flames’ last six outings according to the OddsShark NHL Database.
Despite holding down top spot in the Pacific Division the Canucks ride a three-game losing streak into Saturday, falling in three straight road games against the Carolina Hurricanes, Boston Bruins, and Minnesota Wild. That put an end to the team’s five-game winning streak.
The Canucks lost 4-2 at the Wild on Thursday night at +105 on the NHL moneyline, with J.T. Miller and Antoine Roussel scoring the team’s goals in the losing cause and Jacob Markstrom making 33 saves on the night. Elias Pettersson sat out the game with a lower-body injury.
The Flames and Canucks have met twice already this season, with Calgary winning 3-0 back on October 5 and Vancouver winning 5-2 in the rematch on December 29. The Flames are 3-4 against the Canucks over the past two seasons, with the OVER/UNDER going 4-3.
