If you’ve been listening to the Fan 960 around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays for the past month or so, you may have heard some familiar stuff.
Not necessarily the voices – I don’t know how many of you guys are familiar with those – but some of the rhetoric may have sounded a lot like what you’ve read on this site. Or at the very least, it certainly got nerdy.
That’s not a coincidence, as for the past five weeks, one of Kent, Mike, or I have ended up on the radio – courtesy of Pat – to share our message far and wide.
… Or something like that.
The latest hit was Kent earlier this afternoon, which you can listen to here. It’s a great, reassuring listen. Remember how Kent preached that the Flames weren’t as bad as they appeared to be back in January? That still stands today. Another highly relevant topic of discussion: just who the Flames may match up against in the first round of the playoffs, and how desirable (or not) some of those matchups may be.
If you’d like to take a listen back, here are our other hits on the Fan 960:
  • On March 7, Kent discussed just how much the Flames have improved.
  • On March 14, Mike, our resident penalty kill nerd, praised Paul Jerrard’s work this season.
  • On March 21, I talked about the Flames’ lineup and how exciting the near future is.
  • On March 28, Mike sang Micheal Ferland’s praises (and also talked a bit about Troy Brouwer).
Bonus! Ryan has been making the rounds, too. Here he is on Lowetide, back on March 20; he was also on Calgary CBC radio not too long ago, too, but they didn’t archive that hit, sadly. Hopefully there’ll be more in the future.
So give us a listen, enjoy, and we’ll be sure to keep you guys in the loop for all of our radio and podcast hits in the future!
