Not much to say about this one, except that it’s ironic the Flames stormed back in the last game after falling behind by four, but were buried in this one, even though they were far more dominant after falling behind tonight. The Wild got ahead in the first and went into their protect-the-lead mode, with the added bonus that more than half of their chances from then on in found the back of the net over the course of the evening. One of those nights.
As for Kipper…yeesh. The Wild scored on some grade A chances in this game for sure, but he’s fighting it like never before (except for maybe some of 2008-09).  That said, the bronx cheer at the end of the game was out of order and I rarely comment on the conduct of fans.
