Introducing the 2015-16 Calgary Flames

8 years agoThe moves are all done and the 2015-16 Calgary Flames opening roster is official.
The club will open the season with 22 active players – 3 goalies, 6 defenders and 13 forwards – and 3 players on the injured list. (You get to fill the spots of the injured guys, but you don’t get salary cap relief.) As of now, the Flames have a cap hit of around $69.7 million.
GOALTENDERS
#1 JONAS HILLER
- 33 years old; from Felben Wellhausen, Switzerland; $4.5 million AAV
- Signed by the Flames as a free agent in July 2014
- Played junior in Switzerland
