Mark Giordano May Be Hurt, Being Re-Evaluated Tomorrow

Potentially terrible news, everybody!
As mentioned in the tail end of the post-gamer earlier tonight, Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano left tonight’s game with an injury. He didn’t return. Granted, he took a tumble while tangled up with Steve Bernier (on a play that led to an empty-net goal) with 40 seconds remaining in the game, and there wouldn’t be much of a point to him returning in that situation anyway.
Basically, Bernier appears to get his stick caught between Giordano’s legs as Giordano turns to play the puck. Giordano goes down awkwardly, seemingly – based on the limited angles of video we have access to – create some difficulty with Giordano’s left leg on the way down. We think. Giordano left the ice under his own power and went straight to the locker room.
Let me just underscore this: THERE IS NOTHING DEFINITIVE. Giordano will be re-evaluated tomorrow per the team. Also, I am in Calgary, so all I know is what I see on Twitter or on TV. For your benefit, I’ve collected a bit of both. The Tweets are all from individuals who are, to my knowledge, at the arena tonight.
The Flames are scheduled to practice tomorrow on Long Island at around 2pm ET, so we’ll know more then.

SOME PHOTOS

Best angle of Bernier’s stick between Giordano’s legs

Odd angle/resolution, looks like his left leg is tucked under him
Same time, different (opposite angle). Seems like left leg is under him.
Slightly after above shot, leg is no longer under, now splayed out like other leg, Giordano twisting as he falls.
Only angle available of Giordano after play has gone up the ice. Appears to be holding left leg.
