Some line-up news for you as the beginning of Game 3 rapidly approaches!
The Flames have made two moves:
  • Mason Raymond is in for Markus Granlund
  • Tyler Wotherspoon is in for Corey Potter
Raymond and Wotherspoon were both scratches, along with Drew Shore, in the first two games of this series. After their flat performance in Game 2’s 4-1 loss in Vancouver, seemingly Bob Hartley has decided to shuffle things up with these changes.
Potter has been Calgary’s sixth defenseman since Raphael Diaz went down, as Hartley seemingly loves having balanced pairings in terms of handedness (e.g., a left-hander with a right-hander). But Potter has only been used sparingly, particularly in close games. Wotherspoon is on his fourth recall of the season, most recently being brought up when Diaz was hurt to replace Potter as the extra defender in the press box.
