The Calgary Flames will look to put the brakes on a three-game home losing streak when they host the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night as -200 betting favourites on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Calgary closed out a stretch of seven games featuring six road dates with a 3-2 victory in Buffalo on Wednesday, and will be aiming to record consecutive victories for the first time in over three weeks in Saturday’s matchup at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Senators at Flames | OddsShark Matchup Report

Despite being shrouded in a controversy that led to the resignation of head coach Bill Peters early on Friday, the Flames closed out their recent stretch on the road on a high note. The team has earned points in three straight outings, including wins in two of those contests, to return to .500 with a 12-12-4 record.
However, with just four wins in their past 12 outings the Flames continue to lose ground on the odds to win the Pacific Division, where they are now listed as a +1300 wager.
In addition, Calgary has yet to overcome the poor offensive performance that directly contributed to their recent swoon. Flames shooters have potted just eight total goals during the team’s 2-0-1 run, and just 1.44 goals per game over their past nine outings. However, the club’s low-scoring ways have continued to pay dividends for those taking the UNDER at online betting sites, which is currently on a steady 8-0-1 run.
Set as +165 underdogs for Saturday, the Senators arrive in town reeling from a lopsided 7-2 loss in Minnesota on Friday. With the loss as a +150 wager the Senators had their losing streak extended to three games. Ottawa has also struggled to find the back of the net of late. The Senators have been outscored by a 10-3 margin during their slide, and have been limited to two or fewer goals in seven of their past 10 outings, powering a 10-3 run for the UNDER.
However, the Senators have scored six goals on two occasions while posting wins in two of their past four visits to the Scotiabank Saddledome.
