If you’re like me, the NHL’s trade deadline is an exciting time. it’s a time to think about possibilities, and the future. But it can also be a time to think about the past.
Me? I wondered when the last time the Flames made a trade with each of the other 29 NHL clubs. Here’s what I found out after digging around at Pro Sports Transactions:

I was shocked that it’s been two decades since the Flames have dealt with the Canucks, Islanders or Senators. I wonder what that’s all about.
