The Calgary Flames have announced their training camp roster for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
The Flames have invited 67 players to camp – six goalies, 23 defensemen and 38 forwards. On-ice sessions begin on Thursday at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
They have to unveil a cap compliant roster of between 20 to 23 players by 3 p.m. MT on Oct. 10.
Here’s who will be in camp:

Unsigned and not invited: Matt Coronato (Harvard, NCAA), Demetrios Koumontzis (Arizona State, NCAA), Cade Littler (Wenatchee, BCHL), Josh Nodler (UMass, NCAA), Töpi Ronni (Tappara, Liiga), William Strömgren (Brynäs IF, SHL)
Signed and not invited (due to injury): Parker Bell (Tri-City, WHL)
The Fourth Period’s David Pagnotta, following onto an Eric Francis report from a few days ago, is reporting that Brett Ritchie has signed a one-year deal with the Flames that should be announced shortly. Besides perhaps Ritchie’s inclusion, no real surprises here, either. Parker Bell was invited to Penticton but couldn’t participate, which made Cooper Walker a late camp invite.
