Calgary Flames Game Day: A day trip to scenic Abbotsford (8pm MT)

Photo credit: Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports
The Calgary Flames will reach the halfway point of their exhibition schedule on Wednesday evening when they head to Abbotsford to face the Vancouver Canucks in a neutral site pre-season game!
The Flames (3-0-0) have won all of their exhibition games in convincing fashion. The Canucks (1-0-0) started their pre-season schedule on Tuesday with a home win over Seattle. Can the Flames keep their momentum rolling along?
This game kicks off at 8 p.m. MT and it’s streamed on the Flames’ site and has a radio call from Sportsnet 960 The Fan!

Dustin Wolf starts in net, backed up by Devin Cooley.
If you’re thinking to yourself “Hey, those lines seem a lot different than what we’ve seen from practices and prior games…” Well, yeah. It seems like the undefeated in pre-season Flames are shuffling things up a bit, which could provide a lot of fun new looks for the group. Admit it: you’re kind of excited to see Zary-Pospisil-Coronato and Solovyov-Gridin, aren’t you?
It’s exhibition hockey. It’s the right time to get weird with the lines.
The Canucks
Here’s the roster for the Canucks this evening:
- Goaltenders Jiri Patera and Nikita Tolopilo

- Forwards Arshdeep Bains, Jonathan Letterimaki, Phillip Di Giuseppe, Elias Pettersson, Kiefer Sherwood, Aatu Raty, Max Sasson, Jake DeBrusk, Sammy Blais, Nathan Smith, Daniel Sprong and Linus Karlsson
