At 105th, Calgary has picked Vancouver Giants defender Brett Kulak. Standing at just 6’1" and weighing just 175 pounds, Kulak scored 9 goals and 25 points in 72 games in the WHL last year. Kulak was the 55th ranked NA skater by Central Scouting final rankings.

Kulak is considered a solid defender with some upside who is probably a long-term project. He needs to add strength and bulk to his frame to get to the to the next level.
