The 2026-27 season represents the final 42 games for the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome before they pack up their stuff and move a block and a half north to Scotia Place for the 2027-28 season.

That means that for die-had fans of the Flames, and the many hockey fans living in Calgary who root for other clubs, it’s the last opportunity for everyone to watch their favourite hockey club play in one of the game’s most storied and unique buildings.

For your planning needs, here’s when your favourite team visits the ‘Dome for the final time.

Carolina Hurricanes – Oct. 18, 2026

The reigning Stanley Cup Champions will be the first NHL club to have their Saddledome swan song. Mark Jankowski and the ‘Canes will make their 38th and final visit on Oct. 18.

Their all-time Saddledome scoring leader is Ron Francis (20 points).

Detroit Red Wings – Oct. 24, 2026

The Red Wings will make their 67th and final regular season visit on Oct. 24. They’ve also made six playoff appearances at the Saddledome, most recently in 2007.

Steve Yzerman is the Red Wings’ regular season Saddledome scoring leader (30 points).

Toronto Maple Leafs – Oct. 26, 2026

The Buds make their 59th and final trip to the ‘Dome on Oct. 26.

Mats Sundin (19 points) leads the Leafs in Saddledome scoring, but Auston Matthews is a single point behind him.

Seattle Kraken – Oct. 30, 2026

The Kraken will visit the Saddledome twice in October. They open the season together, then close things out on Oct. 30 for their 11th (and final) visit.

Matty Beniers and Vince Dunn are tied for the Kraken scoring lead at the ‘Dome with six points apiece.

Anaheim Ducks – Nov. 6, 2026

The Ducks will close out their run at the Saddledome on Nov. 6. It’ll be their 67th regular season visit, in addition to their eight playoff games there.

Paul Kariya and Ryan Getzlaf are tied for the Ducks’ ‘Dome scoring lead at 18 points each.

Philadelphia Flyers – Nov. 8, 2026

The Flyers make their 39th (and final) visit to the Saddledome on Nov. 8.

Brian Propp leads the Flyers in Saddledome scoring with 12 points.

New York Rangers – Nov. 11, 2026

The Blueshirts visit the Saddledome on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11, for their 37th outing.

Brian Leetch leads the Rangers with 10 points all-time at the Saddledome.

Minnesota Wild – Nov. 29, 2026

Blake Coleman visits the Saddledome twice early in the season with his new team, with his second (and final) visit coming on Nov. 29. It’ll be the Wild’s 56th trip to the ‘Dome.

Mikko Koivu leads the Wild in Saddledome scoring with 18 points.

Buffalo Sabres – Dec. 3, 2026

The Sabres make the one and only visit to the Saddledome of the season, and their final one ever, on Dec. 3. It’ll be their 40th visit.

The great Dave Andreychuk leads the Sabres in scoring as a visitor in Calgary, with 15 points.

Washington Capitals – Dec. 5, 2026

This may be a surprise or a shock, but legendary goal-scorer Alex Ovechkin leads the Capitals in scoring at the Saddledome with 17 points.

Washington visits the Saddledome for the 37th and final time on Dec. 5.

Winnipeg Jets – Dec. 31, 2026

The second iteration of the Jets make their 29th and final trip to the Saddledome on New Year’s Eve.

Blake Wheeler leads the Jets/Thrashers franchise with 17 points at the ‘Dome.

Florida Panthers – Jan. 5, 2027

Matthew Tkachuk returns to the ‘Dome on Jan. 5. for his final visit and the Panthers’ 24th visit overall.

Aleksander Barkov leads the Panthers in points in Calgary with nine.

New York Islanders – Jan. 7, 2027

The Flames’ expansion cousins from 1972, the Islanders make their 36th trip to the Saddledome on Jan. 7.

Brent Sutter and John Tavares are tied with nine points apiece at the Saddledome, sharing the Isles’ lead.

Tampa Bay Lightning – Jan. 9, 2027

The Lightning make their 25th (and final) regular season visit to the Saddledome on Jan. 9. (They also have played three playoff games in Calgary.)

Nikita Kucherov leads the Lightning with 13 points in Calgary.

Columbus Blue Jackets – Jan. 12, 2027

Columbus visits the Saddledome for the 36th time on Jan. 12.

Rick Nash leads the Blue Jackets in points at the ‘Dome with 10.

San Jose Sharks – Jan. 14, 2027

The Sharks make their final visit to the Saddledome, their 74th regular season twirl, on Jan. 14. (They’ve also played 10 playoff games there.)

Patrick Marleau has 25 points at the ‘Dome, leading the Sharks.

Montreal Canadiens – Jan. 28, 2027

The Canadiens make their final trek to the ‘Dome on Jan. 28. It’s their 49th regular season game, on top of six playoff outings – split across two Stanley Cup Finals. (They used to regularly visit the Saddledome on New Year’s Eve, but that hasn’t happened in many years.)

Saku Koviu has 14 points in the Saddledome with the blue, blanc et rouge, leading the Habs.

New Jersey Devils – Jan. 30, 2027

The Devils visit the Saddledome on Jan. 30, their 37th and final trip. (They used to regularly visit the Saddledome around Halloween in a very on-theme night, but that hasn’t happened in a long time.)

John MacLean leads the Devils with nine points at the ‘Dome.

Utah Mammoth – Feb. 3, 2027

The Mammoth make their fourth and final trip to the ‘Dome on Feb. 3. It’ll be the Flames’ final game before the All-Star Break.

Lawson Crouse and Clayton Keller are tied with three points each for Utah in Calgary.

Boston Bruins – Feb. 17, 2027

The Bruins visit the Saddledome for the 37th time on Feb. 17 in a battle between two of the most classic jersey designs in the league.

Speaking of classic: Ray Bourque’s 18 points leads the Bruins at the Saddledome.

Pittsburgh Penguins – Feb. 19, 2027

The Penguins play at the ‘Dome for the 40th time on Feb. 19.

Mario Lemieux leads the Penguins with 25 points in the Saddledome.

Ottawa Senators – Feb. 21, 2027

Ottawa visits the Saddledome for the 33rd and final time on Feb. 21.

Daniel Alfredsson leads the pesky Sens with 12 points at the ‘Dome.

Chicago Blackhawks – Mar. 5, 2027

The Blackhawks make their 72nd regular season appearance at the ‘Dome on Mar. 5. (They’ve also visited eight times in the post-season.)

Their leading point-scorer at the Saddledome is Patrick Kane, with 28.

Nashville Predators – Mar. 15, 2027

The 46th and final Saddledome clash between the Flames and Predators is on Mar. 15.

David Legwand is Nashville’s all-time Saddledome points leader with 14.

Dallas Stars – Mar. 17, 2027

The Stars make their 72nd trip to the Saddledome on Mar. 17, coincidentally a date that’s also Mikael Backlund’s 38th birthday. (The Stars have also played the Flames four times at the Saddledome in the playoffs, all of them coming in 2022.)

Jamie Benn leads the Stars franchise with 26 points in the Saddledome.

St. Louis Blues – Mar. 21, 2027

The Blues appear at the ‘Dome for their 73rd regular season game on Mar. 21. (They’ve also been visitors four times in the playoffs.)

The great Al MacInnis is the Blues’ leader in Saddledome points, with 16.

Edmonton Oilers – Mar. 23, 2027

The Oilers will make their 127th (and final) regular season visit to the Saddledome, the most by any franchise, on Mar. 23. They’ve also played 15 playoff road games at the Saddledome.

The Oilers’ leading point-getter at the ‘Dome? Predictably, it’s Wayne Gretzky, with 50.

Los Angeles Kings – Mar. 25, 2027

The Kings make their 107th regular season visit to the Saddledome – the third-most by any NHL franchise – on Mar. 25. (They’ve also played 11 playoff games at the ‘Dome).

Luc Robitaille’s 44 regular season points leads the Kings in Calgary.

Vegas Golden Knights – Mar. 27, 2027

Vegas will make their 17th and final visit to the Saddledome on Mar. 27.

William Karlsson leads the Golden Knights in Calgary scoring with 11 points.

Colorado Avalanche – Apr. 8, 2027

The Avalanche make their 85th regular season trip to the ‘Dome on Apr. 8 in the second-last game of the regular season. (They’ve also visited three times in the playoffs.)

Their all-time Saddledome leading scorer is Joe Sakic, with 48 points.

Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks – Apr. 10, 2027

The final regular season game at the Saddledome will be between the Flames and Canucks on Apr. 10. It’ll be the 126th regular season visit for Vancouver (plus 16 in the playoffs, the most of any team) and the 1,698th regular season game at the ‘Dome for the Flames (plus 101 playoff games).

(It’s kind of fun that, barring additional playoff games, the Oilers and Canucks will have the same number of Saddledome visits all-time, with 141 apiece.)

Vancouver’s Saddledome scoring leader is Daniel Sedin (41 points). Calgary’s Saddledome scoring leader is Jarome Iginla (571 points).
