Not a lot happened at ES in terms of chances tonight, although the Flames managed to put shots and such on net when they had the PP. The Oilers couldn’t geenrate much even though they were chasing all night and Khabibulin’s lousy goaltending hurt them a lot.
Ironically, a couple of the worst Flames at ES this evening were Iginla and Cammalleri. They were fine with the ma advantage, but had a lot of problems moving the puck north and/or putting the puck on net from the scoring area. Sutter basically stopped playing the first line once the team went up for good about mid-way through, thus their relatively low ice time.
