The Calgary Flames have made their third selection of the 2025 NHL Draft, and their first of the second day. At 54th overall, the Flames have selected centre Theo Stockselius from Djurgardens IF of the J20 Nationell league in Sweden.

A product of Norrtalje, Sweden, Stockselius is a left shot centre listed at 6’3″ and 196 pounds. He’s a July 2007 birthday, so he’s one of the youngest players that will be selected in this year’s draft. He was the 13th-ranked International skater by the NHL’s Central Scouting Service. He was ranked 60th by Daily Faceoff and 130th by FC Hockey.

Stockselius had 22 goals and 29 assists for 51 points in 40 games in the J20 Nationell, and he was one of the top offensive producers in his age group in that league. He also represented Sweden at the World Junior A Challenge and the Under-18 World Championship, earning silver medals at both events.
