The Flames have signed RFA defenceman Nikita Zadorov to a one-year contract worth $3.75 million.
Zadorov’s agent, Dan Milstein, broke the news of the signing and the one-year term on his Twitter account Friday morning. Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman subsequently reported the average annual value.
Having turned 26 years old this past April, Zadorov will become an unrestricted free agent after his one-year deal with Calgary expires next July. He had one goal and eight points in 55 games with Chicago in 2021–22.
