The Flames are down 3-0 in their first-round series with the Ducks, but the play has not reflected the results so far. With Calgary battling goal review controversies, bad bounces, and the perpetually frustrating Duck roster, there was a lot of interest in dissecting the action today.
I appeared on Lowdown with Lowetide this morning to discuss the few positives and strange negatives of round one for Calgary so far.
I went over some of the same stuff with Pat Steinberg on the Big Show this afternoon, but we also discussed some of the noteworthy Flames individual performances through the first three games.
It’s difficult to be optimistic about the team given their struggles right now, but I argue in both hits that Calgary has come a long way since their clash with the Ducks two years ago.
