With the Flames losers in two, things have become even more crowded in the chase for the final playoff spot in the West. The Stars currently hold down the 8th spot (68 points) with Calgary, Colorado and LA all sitting two back with 66. The Avs and Kings are on their way to winning tonight as I type this, so if the club doesn’t want to find themselves chasing three teams instead of one come the trade deadline, they’ll have to find a way to knock off the Flyers this evening.
