Micheal Ferland Will Not Return Versus The Anaheim Ducks

By Mike Pfeil
Dec 4, 2016, 22:49 ESTUpdated:
On a night where the chosen child Johnny Gaudreau returned and triumphantly made himself noticed, the Calgary Flames lost another forward as Micheal Ferland will not return. This, of course is incredibly unfortunate given his play over the last handful of games and being one of the more effective players of late.
Ferland played all of 0:42 seconds tonight along with five minutes in the penalty box after he fought with Anaheim Ducks defenseman Kevin Bieksa. The two have an obvious and documented history dating back to 2014-15 during the playoffs.
Hopefully there isn’t anything significantly wrong with Ferland who was spotted wincing a bit in the penalty box post-fight.
