With the trade deadline upcoming on Monday, this weekend could be a busy one in terms of general NHL movement. Already this morning a whole slew of waiver wire transactions have taken place:

– Marcos Sturm was claimed by WAS

– Nick Boynton was claimed by PHI

– Craig Rivet was claimed by CBJ

– Ty Conklin (?) and Curtis McElhinney were placed on waivers.

– Myself and ON contrbiutor Jonathan Willis will be hosting a Nations-wide trade deadline day live chat on Monday.
