Friends, remember when the Calgary Flames almost all caught COVID back in December? Sure you do, it was big news. We wrote a bunch of things about it!

Well, between the team’s omicron outbreak and the provincial restrictions that followed, the Flames ended up having 10 games postponed (and rescheduled, primarily into February). They played the eighth and final rescheduled home date on Monday. They won them all.

Rescheduled games, at a glance

NHL Game #	Opponent	Original Date	New Date	Result
436	@ Chicago	Dec. 13	Apr. 18	TBD
443	@ Nashville	Dec. 14	Apr. 19	TBD
462	Toronto	Dec. 16	Feb. 10	W 5-2
478	Columbus	Dec. 18	Feb. 15	W 6-2
500	Anaheim	Dec. 21	Feb. 16	W 6-2
518	Seattle	Dec. 23	Feb. 19	W 2-1
532	Edmonton	Dec. 27	Mar. 7	W 3-1
564	Winnipeg	Dec. 31	Feb. 21	W 3-1
642	NY Islanders	Jan. 11	Feb. 12	W 5-2
676	Vegas	Jan. 15	Feb. 9	W 6-0

The rescheduled games were primarily plunked into what was formerly the Olympic break, with seven of the eight home dates dropped in there. Their two remaining rescheduled road games are in mid-April.

Powered by their strong performances in their eight rescheduled home dates, the Flames are 11-1-1 since the All-Star Break. They’ve out-scored their opposition 57-30 in that span.

The Flames host the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night.
