It’s the later rounds of the draft, so the picks are coming fast and furious. In the fourth round, the Flames have selected Lucas Feuk at 116th overall from Sweden.
A centre/winger from Södertälje, Feuk is a 6’0, 185 pound lefty. He put up 21 goals and 22 assists in 43 Superelit (Swedish U20 league) games. Scouts placed him between 57th (EliteProspects) and 103rd (Future Considerations). He also has a very fun last name.
Feuk led his team in scoring, but isn’t afraid of the rough stuff, as evidenced by his also team high 84 PIMS, more than doubling the next closest player with 36 PIMS.
Top 20 in SuperElit in points AND penalty minutes. #Flames
The Flames have two picks remaining at 150th and 214th. They have already selected Jakob Pelletier and Ilya Nikolayev.
