Flames unveil their 2019 Heritage Classic jersey

The Calgary Flames and Adidas have officially unveiled the jersey the club will wear in the 2019 Heritage Classic in Regina. Coming in the team’s 40th season, the new sweater is a modern version of the white retro jersey.
The Flames originally wore a white sweater with red shoulders from 1972-80 in Atlanta and 1980-94 for home games. Heck, the vaunted white pedestal jersey was a re-imagining of the original home sweater. While the team has worn modern versions of the classic retro road sweater (the red one) in recent years – and it became their primary home sweater during the playoffs – they haven’t trotted out a white version since 1994.
Well, its back. The Flames will don their new duds for the Heritage Classic against the Winnipeg Jets from scenic Regina, Saskatchewan on Oct. 26.
