The Calgary Flames and Adidas have officially unveiled the jersey the club will wear in the 2019 Heritage Classic in Regina. Coming in the team&#8217;s 40th season, the new sweater is a modern version of the white retro jersey.

The Flames originally wore a white sweater with red shoulders from 1972-80 in Atlanta and 1980-94 for home games. Heck, the vaunted white pedestal jersey was a re-imagining of the original home sweater. While the team has worn modern versions of the classic retro road sweater (the red one) in recent years &#8211; and it became their primary home sweater during the playoffs &#8211; they haven&#8217;t trotted out a white version since 1994.
Well, its back. The Flames will don their new duds for the Heritage Classic against the Winnipeg Jets from scenic Regina, Saskatchewan on Oct. 26.
