FlamesNation prospect update: the holiday season

Santa Claus is almost here! Or Father Christmas, for our European friends. As everyone celebrates their holidays remotely this year, Calgary’s various prospects are still playing in some pockets of the world.

Here’s a quick check-in on the prospective future Flames.

Boltmann didn’t play this week, as Lincoln’s game against Sioux City was postponed. He did officially commit to play at Notre Dame beginning in 2021-22, though. He was previously committed to Minnesota, but de-commited over the summer.

Feuk has played four games since being called back up to AIK’s pro team (from junior) to replace Oliver Wahlstrom. He’s been listed as the extra forward in all four games and has played 0:22, 0:00, 0:00 and 11:05 in each game.

The junior league isn’t even active right now, though, so this is better than the alternative.

Nodler is quietly having a really good season. He’s MSU’s first line centre and has won 58.6% of his draws. This week he had two primary assists, including setting up a late goal that tied things up and allowed the Spartans to win their game in overtime. (They tied their other game.)
