I do think that there’s a management change coming. And I say that with all due respect to Brad Treliving. There’s been a long run there. He’s had this team for awhile. They’ve had the same core. They resisted making changes to that core last off-season and in fact in some ways doubled down with all the additions that they made, with Tanev, with Markstrom, and they didn’t pan out this year. And his postmortem press conference, it was a lot of this is a good team that had a bad year and this is a team that’s consistently inconsistent. I don’t know about that. I think they’re going to get a boost and I think they could be a playoff team next year easily in that Pacific with how weak it is. I see change coming. If it’s not management, then it’s got to be blowing up the core of that team, either Monahan or Gaudreau. Someone needs to go. They need a new look. It’s been so long with a lack of success, I don’t know how you can possibly run out the same group again, having made a coaching change already, having added a goalie, having added an upper-echelon defenseman, and then bring the same group back.
