Good news, everybody! The National Hockey League has finally rescheduled the 10 postponed Calgary Flames games!
The 10 games have been rescheduled, as follows:
  • Game 676, vs. Vegas, was rescheduled to Feb. 9 (originally Jan. 15)
  • Game 462, vs. Toronto, was rescheduled to Feb. 10 (originally Dec. 16)
  • Game 642, vs. NY Islanders, was rescheduled to Feb. 12 (originally Jan. 11)
  • Game 478, vs. Columbus, was rescheduled to Feb. 15 (originally Dec. 18)
  • Game 500, vs. Anaheim, was rescheduled for to Feb. 16 (originally Dec. 21)
  • Game 518, vs. Seattle, was rescheduled for to Feb. 19 (originally Dec. 23)
  • Game 564, vs. Winnipeg, was rescheduled to Feb. 21 (originally Dec. 31) – this is a 2 p.m. MT matinee
  • Game 532, vs. Edmonton, was rescheduled to to Mar. 7 (originally Dec. 27)
  • Game 436, at Chicago, was rescheduled to Apr. 18 (originally Dec. 13)
  • Game 443, at Nashville, was rescheduled to Apr. 19 (originally Dec. 14)
The Feb. 16 game bumps a Calgary Hitmen home game to the Seven Chiefs Sportplex, but otherwise these have no other ripple effects on the NHL schedule.
Seven of the 10 postponements, all Flames home dates, are crammed into what was formerly the Olympic break. The Flames will have gap of about a week between games surrounding the All-Star Break, then starting with the Feb. 9 game they’ll be playing their final 40 games over an 80 day stretch.
