Calgary Flames hockey is back tonight in a matchup with the league’s 30th-ranked team, the Anaheim Ducks. Historically, the Flames have dominated this matchup, winning seven of their last eight head-to-head meetings.
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Anaheim Ducks’ John Gibson (13-26-2) vs. The Calgary Flames’ Jacob Markstrom (23-19-2).

Andrei Kuzmenko point (-150)

Your $15.00 bet would return $25.00.
Andrei Kuzmenko has struggled to find consistent linemates since joining the Calgary Flames, but he’s certainly got something now with Nazem Kadri. Kuzmenko was put back on the right side of Kadri’s line two games ago and has two points in both games thus far. Not to mention against tough defensive teams like the St. Louis Blue and Los Angeles Kings, who are fighting for their playoff lives.
Against the Anaheim Ducks, Kuzmenko has scored six points in three of five career games. Anaheim allows the third most goals against on the season (3.6) and the third most in their last 10 games (3.9).
The Flames had an extra day of rest between games. When Kuzmenko has two days of rest, he has a point in 67% of all games, totalling 11 points in 15 games.

Jonathan Huberdeau power play point (+225)

Your $5.00 bet would return $16.25.
I have been targeting this Ducks penalty kill for the last two games, and boy, has it ever paid off. The Ducks allow the second most power play opportunities against per game, averaging 4.4 over their last 10 games. Not only that, but they have the league’s worst penalty kill over that span, with just a 60.4% success rate.
Jonathan Huberdeau’s contribution to the power play has led to the Calgary Flames having the fifth-best power play over their previous 10 games, with a 27% success rate. Huberdeau has a power play point in three of his last four games. The former Florida Panther is slotted on the top unit with Nazem Kadri, Yegor Sharangovich, MacKenzie Weegar and our other bet tonight, Andrei Kuzmenko.

Last Game Recap

Cale Makar Over 3.5 Shots on Goal – WON – (+$11.50)
New York Islanders / Philadelphia Flyers Under 6.5 – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Calgary native Cale Makar comes through for us, finishing with six shots in a surprising loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Unfortunately, our under gets spoiled with eight seconds left in the game, when Morgan Frost scored to push it to 3-3 and send it to overtime.
All-Time Record: 62-70 (-$115.14)
