The Chicago Blackhawks are worse than bad and Patrick Kane will not be playing for them. The players will still try but the roster that has been constructed makes it clear as day they want a shot at Bedard or the other top prospects this year. Fair enough – Bedard would change the direction of the franchise almost instantaneously. As for the betting on today’s game – heavy in Calgary’s favour.

Calgary is one of the top teams in shot volume. Those chances aren’t always dangerous but they fire em off for deflections and rebounds in bunches. Chicago would have to be semi-competent for this not to hit and i don’t believe they’ll hit that level.

I wanted to pick something new here to highlight all the different kinds of bets that are available. Some people that publicly suggest bets care only about their win percentage but there’s a randomness to everything and any bet is a risk you have to comfortable taking. Chicago is terrible 5v5 and Calgary is very good so this makes sense.
