The Islanders are no longer the sit back and shutdown team they were under Barry Trotz – there’s more jump into the offence of their game. It has come as a result of them giving up more slot chances.

Calgary has been a tale of two teams – if the early season Flames show up they should beat anybody. If the Flames of this losing streak show up it will extend.

Last game both teams needed to get a combined 66 shots or more and they got 65. Calgary’s been very good at getting shots – just need to work on the quality. The forward groupings are still in their early season format, if the Huberdeau line is firing this is a great line.

The Islanders aren’t as stingy defensively as they used to be, but they still have Sorokin in the pipes. For this to hit Jonathan Huberdeau would need to be on his game – finally getting away from the mounting pressure of the Saddledome might do wonders for him.

The least risky bet in the entire tank. Puck line works by adding the goal total you picked to the team you picked total goals at the end of the game, if they win after adding then you win your bet. So if the Game is a 4-2 win for Calgary the bet scores 4-4.5 in favour of the Islanders. Calgary would have to win by 3 or more goals for this to not hit.
