The Calgary Flames have lost five in a row (0-3-2). They’re playing well, but finding ways to lose. They seem to just need one more key goal per game to get them over the top, and that’s just not happening lately.
Meanwhile, the Sharks lost on Saturday in Los Angeles after winning back-to-back games for the first time in a month. They lack firepower overall, but have a pretty scrappy team that makes opponents work to get goals and points.

Primary Bet – Calgary Flames to win Moneyline (-175)

The Flames are rested. The Sharks played in Los Angeles on Saturday and then flew home. All things being equal, this should be a scheduled win for the Flames. Granted, the same was true for Friday’s game with St. Louis…

Secondary Bet – Timo Meier anytime goalscorer (+130)

Meier is a top-notch player, and arguably the Sharks’ most dangerous offensive weapon. The Flames tend to take a bunch of penalties, and Meier thrives with extra time and space to operate.

Tertiary Bet – Andrew Mangiapane anytime goalscorer (+200)

Mangiapane was nearly an automatic goal in 2021-22 on the road, but he’s been a bit quieter offensively this season. That said, he’s on the top forward line alongside Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri, and will get plenty of opportunities to cash in as a result. He’s great value at these odds.
