Buffalo can either pop off for a bunch of goals or be stymied – the former has been a more common trend than one might think. The Sabres are also good at limiting point shots at the cost of some chances in tight. Calgary struggles to get shots in tight and instead take a high volume of outside shots – including at the point. It makes for an interesting match-up that I think will be fairly close.

I have a lot of faith in Buffalo to get goals – I also have this sneaking feeling that Calgary can still find goals on the Buffalo goaltending. They did struggle for some in their earlier match-up this year, but on a two game skid we are banking on a big bounce back performance.

If there is any line i can constantly trust to get goals its this line. Mangiapane comes with the best odds for an apple from those guys so we went him.

I Just don’t think he’ll get to 4. It’s a gut feeling and also – it’s not easy to do. For Calgary high shot props are more likely due to the low quality and the volume, but for Buffalo they try for good chances and it usually means less shots in total.
