The Flames can’t score goals and the Stars are tremendous at limiting them. This one screams like a Dallas Stars shutout, but you’d think the Flames could score at least one goal. Going to be hard to back Calgary on this when the other side has Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz and Miro Heiskanen.
Primary Bet – Dallas Stars 1.5 Puckline (+175)
A $1 bet pays out $2.75 – Basically I’m betting Dallas to win by two goals or more. My faith in the Flames is dwindling and having their miraculous comeback game against a squad as good as the Stars is unlikely.
Secondary Bet – Dallas Stars Moneyline & Under 7.5 total goals either team (+110)
A $1 bet pays out $2.10 – Doubling down on the Stars winning – with the Stars defensive track record Calgary getting more than 2 would shock me. If the game ends 4-2 you’d win this bet and the primary recommendation as well.
Tertiary Bet – Mikael Backlund and Jason Robertson each to have 3+ shots on goal (+137)
A $1 bet pays out $2.37 – Both guys like to shoot, that’s reliable enough to bet on. Any Flames actually producing offence right now is too shaky to commit to so shots on goal is where i turn.
