I definitely sold low on the Kings last time they played – I didn’t realize that without Quick in net and with Gavrikov on the back end that they were in a new gear. The match-up preview says Calgary is going to be able to get a high number of slot shots, but with how the Kings have played lately I don’t think it’s all that easy. Kopitar and Danault are a tremendous 1-2 punch and Byfield as your third option really doesn’t seem fair to the competition.
Primary bet
Total goals over 6.5 for +105. That see’s a $1 bet pay out $2.05. Last week the score was 8-2 and while some may think it’ll tighten up defensively I think the Kings are still going to be able to score in bunches. They are getting Fiala back – a point per game player and they’re leading scorer. Calgary? Depends if they put Pelletier in the lineup, but Toffoli is still going to be taking his shots.
Secondary bet
LAK to win and Kevin Fiala to get 1+ points for +200. A $1 bet pays out $3. Like i said above Fiala is the Kings highest point scorer, banking on him to get a point is fairly safe. Combining it with a Kings win can be risky, but they are within shot of winning the division so I feel they’ll still be bringing their full court press.
Tertiary bet
Tyler Toffoli over 2.5 shots on goal for -175. A $1 bet pays out $1.57. Nobody on the Flames shoots more than Toffoli. Sometimes these lines are set at 3.5 and that feels too risky, but being down at 2.5 feels like it could come with a payoff.
