The odds are pretty heavily in Calgary’s favour, but that’s before adding the untraceable coach bump the Wild could be getting with John Hynes. It already showed its face with Matt Boldy waking up for 3 points the other night. Throw in Calgary starting netminder Jacob Markstrom going down with a finger injury and the Wild could find offence – but as long as the Flames play structurally the way they have the last month they should grind out on top.

Primary Bet – Total Goals Under 6.5 (-120)

A $1 bet pays out $1.83 – The Flames have been excellent at limiting shots recently so much so the goalies haven’t been able to hit their save prop. The Wild have struggled to score despite having Kaprizov as some star power. I think this stays lower scoring.

Secondary Bet – Nazem Kadri 1+ points (-134)

A $1 bet pays out $1.75 – Nobody on the Flames has hit this more consistently than Kadri. He’s been the top 6 centre he needs to be.

Tertiary Bet – Total Power Play Goals Under 1.5 (-167)

A $1 bet pays out $1.60 – The Flames power play – while looking better – is still pretty terrible. The Wild also can’t score, combine those trends and here we are.
