Man, a couple weeks ago these teams had a banger, with surprisingly good officiating and really smart physical play by both teams. The officials are all different than in New York, and the Rangers have added Vladimir Tarasenko and Niko Mikkola, but the ingredients look very similar for another fun outing.
The Rangers are 6-0-0 since the start of February, while the Flames are 1-2-2.

Primary Bet – Total goals in match under 6.5 – (-106)

A $1 bet would pay out $1.95. The Rangers are playing their second game in as many nights and the Flames have had trouble scoring lately, Buffalo explosion aside. This game seems primed to be another physical, grind-it out game. Five goals seems likely. Six seems possible. More than that feels like a stretch.

Secondary Bet – Dillon Dube anytime goalscorer – (+200)

A $1 bet pays out $3. Remember how “the Flames have had trouble scoring lately”? Well, except for Dube, who seems to be in a groove and able to score goals consistently. He’s on a heater, and it makes sense to ride that heater until it cools off entirely.

Tertiary Bet – Vladimir Tarasenko anytime goalscorer – (+225)

A $1 pays out $3.25. We can hear you in the comments: rookie (or backup) goaltenders or newly acquired players score a lot against the Flames. No, the data suggests that that happens an average amount against the Flames and it only feels like it’s a frequent happening. But Tarasenko is a premium player and he’s been effective for the Blueshirts so far, so why not throw a buck or two at him to score?
