Two non-playoff teams match up for a game with no implications! The only thing about this game that matters from any sort of relevant seeding perspective is that if the Sharks win they cannot finish dead last. A loss ensures the Sharks a shot at not only finishing closer to the bottom but in that final last place spot. Last place may not ensure Connor Bedard, but it does make sure that either Adam Fantilli or Matvei Michkov are yours as an extremely valuable consolation prize. As for Calgary they’re probably going to win because Dustin Wolf is starting and he hardly ever loses as well as having actual difference makers Pelletier and the new guy Coronato in the lineup.
Had to be eliminated to get games though, solid work coaching staff.

Primary bet

San Jose Sharks total goals under 2.5 (-106). A $1 bet pays out $1.95. This is my best way of saying Dustin Wolf is elite and I’m throwing my weight behind all of that. AHL MVP by my standards and the Flames aren’t going to forget how to defend a horrible San Jose team.

Secondary bet

Dustin Wolf under 25.5 saves (-154). A $1 bet pays out $1.65. It’s not that I don’t think Wolf will make the saves – if he lets in more than one goal i’ll be genuinely surprised – but I looked at the Sharks last three games and the shot totals were 21, 22, and 23. hard to make 26 or more saves if the other team never shoots the puck.

Tertiary bet

Nazem Kadri to get 1+ points (-143). A $1 bet pays out $1.70. I can’t bet on Pelletier or Coronato yet they don’t appear on the app, but what I can do is bet their center to get a point. I hope Coronato gets 2 goals and shows everyone he could have been valuable to the team down the stretch.
The kids are alright – thanks for everyone who followed along all year with Ryan Pike (@RyanNPike on Twitter) and Myself (@Flash_33). You can catch me cheering for the Leafs (REDACTED) this postseason.
