Vancouver have one hell of a record but are riding percentages many people are waiting to correct themselves. Could it happen in Calgary? Why not? Carson Soucy was a major defensive factor for Vancouver and he’s now out for awhile. If they want to continue to win they’ll have to continue leaning on their star power.
Primary Bet – Total Goals over 5.5 (-200)
A $1 bet pays out $1.50 – I do not think either team has the defence to keep goals limited. Unless it’s a Markstrom – Demko battle for the ages this one feels quite safe.
Secondary Bet – Calgary Flames to get 31+ shots (-125)
A $1 bet pays out $1.80 – 31 isn’t very much for a group with the talent the Flames have. Even without the big contracts rolling enough is done to see this total come to fruition
Tertiary Bet – Mikael Backlund over 2.5 shots on goal (-143)
A $1 bet pays out $1.70 – I still think Huberdeau has most of his game, feeding the guy on his line who’s going to take the shots should improve the amount he gets. Backlund has shown this season a willingness to shoot more, which is why he gets the pick.
