Both teams are running streaks in an area that is guaranteed to end and go in another direction at some point. For the Flames it’s their shooting percentage and for the Jets its their save percentage.
Winnipeg will eventually start to let goals in and Calgary will eventually find ways to score more goals – seems almost too good to be true for both runs to end at the same time. 5v5 Calgary has graded out with both a superior attack and defence, The Flames just need to be wary of where Kyle Connor is on the ice at all times. Hellebuyck could destroy all the suggestions I’m about to give you, but the strong play of the Flames should lead them to a victory.

Primary Bet – CGY Flames to win (Moneyline) and Nazem Kadri to record 1+ points (+120)

I’m a firm believer that with the way Calgary played in their last two games they will win more than lose. As we can see above they are due for a big influx of goals i just can’t tell you exactly when they’re going to come through. Regardless whenever the Flames do win Nazem Kadri is on the scoresheet so we’re going with this as the primary line tonight.

Secondary Bet – Kyle Connor over 2.5 SOG (-175)

We’ll stick with the Flame that’s been the most reliable to produce to start the season. 9 out of 12 games this season Kyle Connor has gotten 3 or more shots on goal. Very reliable and consistent goal threat, one of the best in the entire league actually. Part of that his his propensity to always shoot the puck.

Tertiary Bet – Total shots on goal over 63.5 (-125)

With the 5v5 defensive coverage the Jets employ a proper Calgary attack should see 40+ shots from that side – a bunch of Calgary PKs could diminish that for the home team, but this line combines with the Jets too. Power plays tend to equal more shots so either way getting to a combined total of 64 should be attainable.
As usual, bet safe and enjoy the game!
