Betway Bets of the Day: The Calgary Flames at the Boston Bruins

Boston’s hot start is nowhere as near as dominant as the Devils, riding high shooting percentages and above average save percentages to an early 11-2-0 record. It’s not going to get any easier for Calgary as top defenceman Charlie McAvoy returns for the Bruins.

Bostons strength is in their ability to limit opportunities, and McAvoy is only going to improve that. The Bruins are due for a bad shooting or goaltending performance so there is hope for Calgary, we’re just not going to (literally) bet on that.

I do think the Bruins take this and if they do their top goal scorer being involved is a likely outcome. The Bruins are a very consistent team even under new coaching – a Calgary team that’s clearly playing disjointed will be in tough to win.

It worked for the Flames last time we picked this, and with his improved play of late there’s enough faith he’ll get this again. The best shot on the Calgary Flames should definitely be prioritizing shooting more instead of passing on opportunities – lets see if he does that in this one

The overarching theme here is a Bruins win – and for the Bruins to win both Marchand or Pastrnak will more than likely be involved in some capacity.
