The Calgary Flames have reduced their training camp roster by seven players on Tuesday.
Two waiver-exempt players – defencemen Yan Kuznetsov and Brady Lyle – have been assigned to the American Hockey League’s Calgary Wranglers. Four more players – goaltender Oscar Dansk, defenceman Colton Poolman, and forwards Ben Jones and Clark Bishop – have cleared waivers and been assigned to the Wranglers. The club has also signed defenceman Jonathan Aspirot, who was in NHL camp on a professional try-out, to an American Hockey League contract.
Following these moves, the Flames’ camp roster is down to 35 players: 3 goaltenders, 11 defencemen and 21 forwards.
