The Calgary Flames have reduced their training camp roster by six players on Thursday.
Five waiver-exempt players have been sent to the American Hockey League’s Calgary Wranglers: goaltender Dustin Wolf, defencemen Yan Kuznetsov and Jeremie Poirier, and forwards Lucas Ciona and Connor Zary. The club has also returned 2023 first-round pick Samuel Honzek to the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants.
Following these moves, the Flames’ camp roster is down to 30 players: 2 goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 18 forwards.
