The quotes

Head coach Darryl Sutter
On the win: “I think we scored the first goal. Killed some penalties. Two or three guys had good games. And we won the game.”
On Trevor Lewis’ performance: “To be able to slide in and play centre is not easy. He jumped right in like he doesn’t miss a beat. It’s his time of year. Most players could learn a lot, on our team could learn a lot, a lot, watching him.”
On Dillon Dube passing up a sure empty-better to set up Tyler Toffoli: “It’s about the team. There’s too much talk already this year, the last week or so, about individuals. It’s about the team. Trying to become a better club here, get some respect in the league, and that sort of thing. It’s not about individuals, it’s about the team.”
Noah Hanifin
On the road trip: “Obviously before we came on the road trip, we weren’t really happy with where we were. Last week at home we lost a couple games, didn’t play our best. Obviously I think getting out of Calgary, go on the road, get some fresh looks I thought was good for our team. Obviously a big two points for us tonight.”
