For the second straight game, the Flames were punchless except this time they couldn’t even muster anything in the third period while trailing. All the big guns were completely outclassed today, especially the Flames first line and defense pairing. Only Tom Kostoplous finished the game in the black (+1) in terms of scoring chances tonight.
Calgary’s offensive game is about 5-steps back of where it left off last year. They’ll need to significantly improve that to get anywhere.
