Babyfaced assassin Eetu Tuulola gets his North American moment in the sun.

In case you missed it:

Dillon Dube- F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date302211026.57
Change from last week1022110+26.57
After going pointless in his first game, Dube had a pair of assists and a handful of good scoring chances in Stockton’s home opener. Hopefully, he can mount a recall campaign soon, for the sake of the Flames’ bottom six.

Lucas Feuk- LW, Södertälje SK, Superelit/Allsvenskan

Didn’t play at either level this week. No given reason why.

Glenn Gawdin- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date313414154.14
Change from last week1123131+33.21
Gawdin quietly picked up three points in Stockton’s home opener, tying with Brandon Davidson for most points during the outing, but didn’t pick up a star at the end like the defenceman. He’s currently tied for the Heat’s scoring lead.

Justin Kirkland- LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date312322239.85
Change from last week1000000-19.93
The surprise prospect of the week is Kirkland, who is currently tied for the Stockton lead in scoring (with Zac Rinaldo) despite being listed on the fourth line. The actual Flames kids didn’t do much scoring this week, so prepare for some more weirdness like this.

Demetrious Koumontzis- LW, Arizona State University, NCAA (Independent)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date412301122.2
Change from last week2000000-22.2
After a pretty strong start to the season, Koumontzis couldn’t manage to repeat his performance this past weekend against Minnesota State. To be fair, no one did, as the Sun Devils were outscored a combined 9-1 in the two game series.

Carl-Johan Lerby- D, Malmo Redhawks, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date931411121.72
Change from last week2000000-6.21
Nothing doing for Lerby this week, who was briefly demoted to the third pairing for some reason.

Linus Lindstrom- C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1041525224.44
Change from last week2112121+6.11
Another strong week for Lindstrom, who is just one point shy of his SHL career high. It’s a low bar considering the struggles he’s faced thus far in his career, but Lindstrom has looked like a much improved prospect, one with a serious chance at a North American job next year.

Ryan Lomberg- LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date312323239.85
Change from last week1112222+19.93
Another Heat player that’s begun the year hot. Lomberg’s probably not anyone’s idea of a regular NHLer, but he’s doing the best he can to remind people that he’s not going away anytime soon.

Andrew Nielsen- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date30000000
Change from last week10000000
Another quiet week for Nielsen, which is expected. He’s benefiting from being paired with Davidson, coming out of Saturday’s game with a +3.

Ilya Nikolayev- C, Loko, MHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date14961513111027.24
Change from last week2213232+1.82
Nikolayev had yet another strong week, picking up three points for Loko. KHL teams are very odd and inconsistent with how they use feeder leagues, so I’m just guessing, but I feel there’s a chance he gets to see VHL time sometime soon.

Jakob Pelletier- LW, Moncton Wildcats, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date8671399837.84
Change from last week3325444+0.58
Pelletier was having a quiet week, held off the scoresheet in Moncton’s first two games of the week.
Then he messed around and scored five points.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen- C/LW, Denver Pioneers, NCAA (NCHC)

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date413433336
Change from last week2123222+18.01
Another clutch moment for Pettersen this week, who scored the game winner in Denver’s first game against Lake Superior State after setting up a game winner last week.

Matthew Phillips- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date320212126.57
Change from last week1000000-13.28
Held off the scoresheet this week.

Luke Philp- C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date20000000
Change from last week
Scratched to make way for the returning Alan Quine.

Martin Pospisil- C/LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date30000000
Change from last week10000000
Not much happening for Pospisil.

Milos Roman- C, Vancouver Giants, WHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1172948420.26
Change from last week4213222-0.97
Roman has emerged as more of a sharpshooting centreman than a distributor this year, which is an interesting yet welcomed development. If he can start putting both aspects of his game together, look out.

Adam Ruzicka- C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date301110013.28
Change from last week1000000-6.65
Also not much going on for Ruzicka this week.

Filip Sveningsson- LW, IK Oskarshamn, SHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date101011114.89
Change from last week2101111+4.89
Still not going well for Sveningsson in the SHL, where he has yet to pick up a point, though he is starting to see more ice time. Oskarshamn lost 12-0 this weekend, so expect more pain in the future.

Eetu Tuulola- RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date311221126.57
Change from last week1112211+26.57
When he was drafted, Tuulola provided a simple yet all-encompassing description of himself: “I love to score goals.”
Three years later, he’s scoring those goals. You love to see it.

Rinat Valiev- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date301100013.28
Change from last week1000000-6.65
Also not a lot going on for Valiev this weekend.

Alexander Yelesin- D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date310101013.28
Change from last week1000000-6.65
Yelesin followed up a pretty solid debut with some struggles, going -2 in his third game of the season.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy- C/LW, Rimouski Oceanic, QMJHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date1051318811641.92
Change from last week2134121+1.17
The RW on the QMJHL’s most deadly line this season has continued his furious start to the year, picking up four points in just two games this week for Rimouski. I’ll dive into the Lafreniere influence later, but Zavgar is still doing a lot of great work by himself.

Currently up in Stockton in relief of the two above him.

Dustin Wolf- G, Everett Silvertips, WHL

Change from last week3191.7+0.20
This week, Wolf stopped 31 of 33 (0.939), 36 of 38 (0.947), and 35 of 35 (a shutout, duh). For some, that would be a pristine week of goaltending. To Dustin Wolf, it is no big deal.

Artyom Zagidulin- G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%
Up to date31800.920
Change from last week160-0.018
Probably not the finest week of goaltending for Zagidulin (21 saves on 24 shots, 0.875 SV%), but he did enough to get the job done for the Heat.
