Has it really been six months since it all started? I guess so.

In case you missed it

Rasmus Andersson – D, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current569303924221526.84
Change from last week3101111-0.79
Just one goal in Andersson’s return to the AHL. Hopefully his last, in a good way.

Austin Carroll – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current425277666.42
Change from last week3000000-0.5
Returned to the lineup with Hunter Shinkaruk and Morgan Klimchuk absent. Didn’t do that much.

Dillon Dube – C/LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current604442225.69
Change from last week30222110
It is extremely promising to see how Dube has seamlessly slid into the Heat’s top six and how productive he was fresh off a WHL playoff series. Small sample size and all, but wow.

Spencer Foo – RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current6220193916331224.24
Change from last week3022020+0.07
Foo is also back in town to try and save the season. Perhaps he carries the good vibes from his two goals down to California.

Glenn Gawdin – C/RW, Swift Current Broncos, WHL

Gawdin and the Broncos are off to the third round of the WHL playoffs, having defeated the mighty Moose Jaw Warriors in a down to the wire series. Gawdin has picked up 20 points through 14 games, including four in last night’s decisive 6-0 victory. He will go onto face the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the third round of the WHL playoffs.

Josh Healey – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current500443323.08
Change from last week3011111+0.62
Got the assist on the final Stockton goal of the year, his fourth of the season.

D’Artagnan Joly – RW, Stockton Heat, AHL

Didn’t play at all! For comparison, his QMJHL teammate but AHL rival (San Jose Barracuda, who are going to the playoffs instead of Stockton) Ivan Chekhovich put up nine points in six games on a team that finished next to last in goals for all season. Perhaps they had something secret stashed in Baie-Comeau.

Morgan Klimchuk – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current6219214023311924.86
Change from last week00000000
Klimchuk was apparently injured for the last few games of the year. Bummer.

Oliver Kylington – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current627283523241721.76
Change from last week3112121+0.2
Kylington’s strong finish to the season means that he finished around Andersson’s totals in the categories of 5v5 points per game, primary points per game, and 5v5 primary points per game. That’s insanely good, especially given that it is presumed Andersson is making the jump next season. Perhaps the Flames could create a stellar third pairing of homegrown talent.

Linus Lindstrom – C/LW, Skelleftea AIK, SHL

Skelleftea has made the SHL finals, partly thanks to Lindstrom and his four assists. They’ll face Vaxjo in a best-of-seven, starting today.

Ryan Lomberg – LW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current5713152820201318.93
Change from last week3314242+1.8
Lomberg finished the season strong, picking up seven points in his last six games. Potential dark horse for a guy making the jump next season?

Andrew Mangiapane – LW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current3921254626352245.46
Change from last week00000000
Season shut down after shoulder surgery.

Mitchell Mattson – C/LW, Sioux Falls Stampede, USHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current53912211619149.1
Change from last week4000000-0.74
Played in four games last week, but was held off the scoresheet.

Adam Ollas Mattsson – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date140000000
Change from last week00000000
Probably not back next season.

Matthew Phillips – C/RW, Victoria Royals, WHL

Phillips was swept at the hands of Juuso Valimaki and the mighty Tri-City Americans. Phillips picked up three assists in the proceedings, a tamer output than his 16 points in the series before.

Emile Poirier – LW/RW, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current657243121211318.38
Change from last week3145331+2.22
An explosive finish for Poirier, whose scoring was scant before the final two weeks of the season. Has he played himself back into the Flames’ plans?

Brett Pollock – LW/C, Stockton Heat, AHL

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current461010201015716.76
Change from last week3011010-0.27
Just an assist for Pollock this week. Really good season for him, all things considered.

Daniel Pribyl – RW/C, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current00000000
Spent the whole season on IR. Probably won’t see him again, which is a shame. He was once the Flames’ #1 RW prospect.

Adam Ruzicka – C/LW, Sarnia Sting, OHL

Sarnia’s postseason run has come to an end at the hands of the Kitchener Rangers, losing 4-2 in the second round. Ruzicka has been underwhelming this post-season, having picked up only three assists in 12 games.

Hunter Shinkaruk – F, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Up to date6317153219261719.58
Change from last week00000000
Shinkaruk didn’t suit up for any of the final three Stockton Heat games, unknown why. If it’s a healthy scratch, it’s probably not good.

Juuso Valimaki – D, Tri-City Americans, WHL

Has been injured. Hopefully, he’ll return in time for a powerhouse matchup between Tri-City and Everett. Five points in six games.

Tyler Wotherspoon – D, Stockton Heat

GPGAP5v5 PP15v5 P1NHLe
Current677303718191022.28
Change from last week3000000-0.46
Just an assist for Wotherspoon this week.

Jon Gillies – G, Stockton Heat

GPTOISV%SA
Current392230.63.9171130
Change from last week3178.6+.00194
The only Flames goalie to play this week. Gillies came up big in Stockton’s desperate drive for the playoffs, posting a .917, .931, and a .933 in the final three games. He might have played himself into a roster spot next season.
And that’s a wrap! Thank you for tuning in for the entire season. Prospect wrap-ups will follow shortly.
