Folks, the Calgary Flames should probably be considered a Stanley Cup contender at this point. They’re among the top teams in the National Hockey League both offensively and defensively, and they’re atop the Pacific Division with a decent bit of cushion in the standings.
But the Flames are far from the only team with Stanley Cup aspirations. Here’s a quick snapshot at what the other top teams in the NHL have done so far as we head into the stretch drive of trade season.

Colorado Avalanche
