With the Olympics over and the trade deadline a mere two days away, today feels a bit like the eye of the storm. Flames Nation has a number of Calgary focused articles in the hopper, but for now here’s a general overview of what to expect on Wednesday.

Reading the tea leaves on trade deadline day is tough. There are always a few obvious moves, but they are typically surrounded by a litany of trades that would have been nearly impossible to predict. In addition, sometimes sellers will deal with each other as long as their haves/needs matchup and they aren’t direct rivals. As such, this handy "cheat sheet" isn’t exhaustive, but it does give one the lay of the land.
