Under the tutelage of head coach Darryl Sutter, the Calgary Flames have successfully transformed the Scotiabank Saddledome into one of the most hostile environments for visiting teams in the National Hockey League.
Case in point: Calgary defeated the 31–16–3 Minnesota Wild by a 7–3 score on Saturday night. With the victory, the Flames extended their winning streak at the Saddledome to 11 games, tying the franchise record set in 2015–16.
The Flames last won 11 consecutive home games between Nov. 5 and Dec. 27, 2015. Karri Ramo won nine games during that particular streak, with Jonas Hiller being the goaltender of record in the other two.

Five of the Flames’ wins during the 2015–16 streak came in overtime, with an additional one coming after a shootout; conversely, the Flames’ last 10 home wins have all come in regulation time.
The Flames finished February 2022 with a 10–1–0 record in 11 games. They’ll return to action with a rematch against the Wild in Minnesota on Mar. 1 at 6:00 p.m. MT.
