No prospect in the Calgary Flames system has risen their stock quite like Eric Jamieson has this season.
This is the Nov. 11-17  edition of the Flames prospect round-up, where we look at how Flames prospects have done every week. Specifically, we’ll look at players playing overseas, in junior hockey, or at the college level, as the American Hockey League prospects will have an article of their own in the Wranglers recap.
Let’s take a week that was!

Cole Reschny and Cade Littler

Cole Reschny, Cade Littler and the North Dakota Fighting Hawks played two games against Cullen Potter and Arizona State over the weekend. They won the first game 5-2, but lost the second one 4-2.
Both players picked up an assist, with Reschny getting his in the win, while Littler got his in the loss. This season, Reschny has two goals and 11 points in 12 games and Littler has a goal and four points in 10 games.
Next up for the Fighting Hawks is an exhibition game against the U.S. Under-18 Team on Friday, with no NCAA games scheduled until two games against Bemidji State the following weekend.

Cullen Potter

Cullen Potter had a bit more success than Reschny and Littler in the two games, picking up an assist in their 5-2 loss and scoring a goal in their 4-2 win. This season, the 32nd overall pick from the 2025 draft has two goals and eight points through 12 games.
Arizona State and Potter play another Flame prospect next weekend, as they host the University of Denver and Eric Jamieson for two games.

Theo Stöckselius

Theo Stöckselius remains out of Djurgårdens IF U20’s lineup. This past week, they defeated Timrå IK U20 4-3 and then won 4-2 against Brynäs IF U20. The Flames’ second-round pick in 2025 still has a goal and nine points in seven games as he recovers from a laceration from a skate.
Djurgårdens IF U20’s lone game this weekend is a matchup against AIK U20 on Friday.

Mace’o Phillips

Mace’o Phillips and the United States Hockey League’s Green Bay Gamblers split their two games with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, dropping the first one 5-4, but winning the second one 7-6 in a shootout. The Flames’ third-round pick in 2025 had an assist, bringing his season totals to a goal and four points in 12 games, surpassing the three points he had in 25 games last season.
This weekend, the Gamblers head to Omaha to face the Lancers for two games, with a 5:05 PM MT start time on Friday and a 4:05 PM MT start time on Saturday.

Ethan Wyttenbach

Eric Jamieson and Ethan Wyttenbach are the two Flames prospects playing in college or junior who have raised their stock this season. Wyttenbach and the Quinnipiac Bobcats took on Boston University, defeating them 6-2. Unsurprisingly, Wyttenbach scored again to give him six goals and 14 points in 12 games this season.
Quinnipiac is back in action this weekend, taking on Clarkson on Friday and St. Lawrence on Saturday, both games are at home with a 5:00 PM MT start time.

Aidan Lane

Speaking of Clarkson and St. Lawrence University, both teams took on Aidan Lane and Harvard University, with Harvard winning both. They defeated Clarkson by a score of 2-1 on Friday, then defeated St. Lawrence 4-3 on Saturday.
The Flames’ sixth-round pick in the most recent draft was held pointless in both games, as he has two goals in six games this season. Harvard’s lone game this weekend is against the University of Vermont on Saturday at 4:00 PM MT.

Jakob Leander

Jakob Leander and HV71 U20 played one game this week, falling 11-0 to Frölunda HC U20. Oof. The Flames’ seventh-rounder in the 2025 draft has a goal and four points in 16 games, just two points shy of matching his career-best season.
HV71 U20 looks to have better luck this week, as they play the Växjö Lakers HC U20 on Wednesday, Örebro HK U20 on Saturday, and Färjestad BK U20 on Sunday.

Yan Matveiko

The Flames’ other seventh-round pick in the 2025 draft, Yan Matveiko, played three games this week. He had an assist in Krasnaya Armiya’s 5-1 win over Almaz, picked up two assists in their 7-4 win, also against Almaz, and was held pointless in their 4-2 loss to Loko. Matveiko was held pointless in their 5-3 win over Loko on Monday. For the season, the 19-year-old has nine goals and 23 points in 23 games, just one goal and one point shy of matching his total from last season.
This week, Krasnaya Armiya play JHC Dynamo-Kareliya on Saturday and SKA Academy on Monday.

Jacob Battaglia

Moving to the Flames’ 2024 draftees, Jacob Battaglia and the Kingston Frontenacs played three games this week, falling 2-1 in the shootout to the Ottawa 67’s, but then defeating the Niagara IceDogs 4-3 in overtime and the Sarnia Sting 5-2 in regulation. Battaglia scored a goal in each of their wins, giving him 10 goals and 15 points in 19 games this season.
The Frontenacs have another Wednesday match-up against the 67’s, this time at home, before playing a home-and-home against the Peterborough Petes on Friday and Saturday, both games have a start time of 5:05 PM MT.

Kirill Zarubin

Kirill Zarubin and Mikhailov Academy played two games this past week, defeating Sakhailnskie Akuly 2-0 and JHC Atlant 5-0. The Flames’ prospect only appeared in their 5-0 win, stopping all 29 shots he faced.
Mikhailov Academy’s lone game this week is against Red Machine-Yunior on Tuesday.

Trevor Hoskin

Trevor Hoskin had a strong week for Merrimack, picking up two assists in their 4-2 loss to Providence, before scoring twice in their 3-2 win, also against Providence. He picked up a point on 80% of their goals over the weekend, giving him four goals and 12 points in 10 games.
Merrimack’s lone game this week is a road game against Long Island University on Friday, with a start time of 5:00 PM MT.

Luke Misa

This week, Luke Misa and Penn State played two games against the University of Michigan, who are without Flames’ prospect Henry Mews for the rest of the season. Penn State fell 7-1 in the first game, but bounced back with a 4-2 win, with Misa scoring the opening goal to give him two goals and three points in 14 games this season.
Penn State hit the road this week in Big 10 action, playing Minnesota for two games on the weekend. Both Friday and Saturday’s games will have a start time of 6:00 PM MT.

Hunter Laing

The Saskatoon Blades had a successful week, defeating the Swift Current Broncos 4-1, the Calgary Hitmen 2-1, and the Red Deer Rebels 6-5. Laing had two goals in their 4-1 win, scored the game-winning goal in their 2-1 win, and scored a goal and an assist in the 6-5 win. Through 20 games this season, Laing has 12 goals and 21 points.
This week, the Blade have a rematch against the Broncos on Friday, before taking on the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday. Both games are at home.

Eric Jamieson

Eric Jamieson, a defenceman, can’t stop scoring. The Flames’ sixth-round pick in 2024 had two goals in his past three games heading into the University of Denver’s two games against Colorado College last weekend. He was held pointless in their 2-1 win on Friday, but scored again in their 3-2 win. The 20-year-old now has five goals and eight points in 12 games this season.
This weekend, Denver looks to build upon their five-game winning streak, taking on Cullen Potter and Arizona State for two games over the week.

Jaden Lipinski

Jaden Lipinski and the University of Maine played two games over the weekend, both against Vermont. They won Friday’s game 7-0, but fell 2-1 on Saturday. The Flames’ fourth-round pick in 2023 had an assist on the seventh goal on Friday, giving him two goals and seven points in 12 games this season.
This weekend, Maine heads to Massachusetts to play two games against Boston College. Both Friday and Saturday’s games have a start time of 5:00 PM MT.

Yegor Yegorov

JHC Spartak-MAX played two games this week, both against SKA Academy. They won the first one 5-2, but lost the other one 5-3. Flames’ prospect Yegor Yegorov didn’t dress for either game, as the sixth-round pick in 2023 has a .931 save percentage and 2.49 goals against average in 11 games this season.
It’s a busy week for JHC Spartak-MAX, as they play JHC Dnamo-Kareliya on Tuesday, Almaz on Saturday, and Loko on Monday.

Axel Hurtig

Finally, Axel Hurtig and the Calgary Hitmen played just one game this week, falling 2-1 to the Saskatoon Blades on Friday. The Flames’ defence prospect was held pointless and finished the game with a shot on goal, as Huirtig now has two goals and three points in 16 games.
The Hitmen have a busier schedule this week, playing the Medicine Hat Tigers three times. The first game is on Wednesday in Calgary, before playing a home-and-home on Saturday and Sunday.
