Famed for his high penalty numbers pre-draft, 2018 Flames pick Martin Pospisil has returned to be the leading scorer in the USHL, hitting just under two points per game. Not a bad transformation to make, especially when you’ve been written off as a coke machine since being drafted.
In case you missed it:
- Here’s last week’s update.
- Your Hitmen report.
- An update from Stockton.
- Adam Ollas-Mattsson’s teammates bought his jersey for Stick it to Cancer night.
- And Yasin Ehliz was placed on (and since cleared) unconditional waivers.

Gawdin has been one of the early season surprises, becoming one of the more reliable producers from the Stockton bottom six. He’s mostly a powerplay option thus far, but he’s been strong in that role and should eventually start seeing more production at other areas of the game.
