Friends, the national and regional television schedules have been released in Canada and the United States for the National Hockey League. As such, it’s now pretty easy to figure out how to watch the Calgary Flames in the upcoming season.

If you live in Calgary, you get the 22 national games (18 Hockey Night in Canada games and four weekday games), plus 60 regional games on Sportsnet West and/or Flames. You need to be within the “Flames region” to get the regional games on Sportsnet – so you better live in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nunavut or the Northwest Territories. (Sportsnet Now also works.)

If you live outside of the “Flames region,” you still get the national games but you’ll need the NHL Live service to get the regional games from out-of-region. (Sportsnet Now should also work.)

Regardless of where you are, all 82 regular season games will be on Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

In the first year of the two big American TV deals, the Flames will be featured on zero nationally-produced American broadcasts. They’re on zero national games produced by TNT, ESPN or ESPN+/Hulu.

That said, Americans can still watch Flames games. Instead of using NHL.TV like last season, it’s all on ESPN+ this season. So while the Flames don’t get the national spotlight, Americans can jump on ESPN+ and catch the Canadian broadcasts.
